Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Enable and Use Flash Notification Feature in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Flash notification is a feature in Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge that is basically designed to help the deaf or hard-hearing users to easily know when they receive notifications or when alarms sound by flashing the camera light.

How to enable or disable the flash notification feature?
You can turn on or off this feature by using the following steps:
  1. While the screen is unlocked, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap at the top right to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down to the Personal section and then tap Accessibility.
  3. Tap Hearing.
  4. Tap the ON/OFF switch next to Flash notification to enable or disable this option. When the switch turns green, it means the flash notification feature is enabled.

How to use the flash notification feature?
When the flash notification feature is enabled, your phone will flash the camera light to notify you when you receive notifications(e.g., calls, messages, etc) or when alarms sound. If mute gesture is enabled, you can easily stop your phone from flashing the camera light by turning the device over.
