Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Configure Power Saving Mode in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge comes with some features that you can use to conserve more battery power, one of which is the power saving mode. You can manually activate this feature whenever you want or set your phone to automatically activate this feature when the remaining battery power reaches certain level. When the power saving mode is activated, it'll limit or disable some of your phone's functions, e.g: limit the maximum CPU performance, reduce the screen brightness, turn off vibration feedback, turn off the touch key light, and reduce the time before the screen is turned off after receiving notifications so your phone will go into sleep mode faster.

How to configure power saving mode?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. While the screen is unlocked, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap at the top right to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down to the System section and then tap Battery.
  3. Tap Power saving mode.
  4. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the right to enable the power saving mode. The switch turns green when it's enabled.
  5. If needed, you can set when your phone has to activate power saving mode by tapping Start power saving and then select Immediately(this option is enabled by default), At 5% battery power, At 15% battery power, At 20% battery power, or At 50% battery power. As the example, if you select At 15% battery power, your phone will automatically activate power saving mode when the remaining battery power reaches 15%.
