Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Change Vibration Pattern in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

When needed, you can change the current vibration pattern in your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to another pattern available so you can easily know when receiving notifications or incoming calls with vibration. It comes handy if you're in a place where notification sound is not enough for you to know incoming calls or notifications. Unfortunately, the option to create custom vibration pattern is no longer available in this phone.

How to change the vibration pattern?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to find Sounds and vibration and then tap it.
  3. Tap Vibration pattern and then select from the following options:
    • Basic call
    • Heartbeat
    • Ticktock
    • Waltz
    • Zig-zig-zig
  4. The vibration pattern has been changed.
