Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Enable and Use Quick Launch Camera Feature in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

While you're using your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for doing something, e.g., write a text message, browsing a webpage, etc., and suddenly there's a nice moment you want to capture, then don't make multiple steps to launch the Camera app make you miss that moment. By using the quick launch camera feature, you can set your phone to automatically launch the Camera app each time you press the Home key twice in quick succession no matter what the app or screen you're opening.


How to enable or disable the quick launch camera feature?
You can turn on or off this feature by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to find Advanced features and then tap it.
  3. Depending on your current settings, tap the ON/OFF switch next to Quick launch camera to enable or disable this option. When the switch turns blue , means the quick launch camera feature is enabled.


How to use the quick launch camera feature?
When this feature is enabled, press the Home key twice in quick succession to quickly launch the Camera app.
