Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Turn Off All Sounds in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

If you're in a situation where you don't want your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge plays any sounds, including via the speakerphone, e.g., when you're at library, when you're on a date, or in a meeting room, etc., you can enable the turn off all sounds feature to easily turn off all sounds in your phone without you have to change the sound profile or adjust the volume settings.

How to turn off all sounds?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down to find Accessibility and then tap it.
FYI, if you have enabled the direct access feature and selected the accessibility option, you can quickly access the accessibility menu from any screen by pressing the Home key three times quickly to open up the direct access menu and then tap Accessibility.
  3. Tap Hearing.
  4. Slide the ON/OFF switch next to Turn off all sounds to the right to enable this option. When the switch turns blue means this option is enabled and all sounds in your phone will be turned off.
